Welcome to Ankahee
A heartfelt Initiative Born From the Compassion & Dedication of Former Volunteers of Samaritans Mumbai and Our Beloved Mentor Manohar
Welcome to Ankahee
The name ‘Ankahee’ comes from the Hindi word meaning "unsaid" or "unspoken". It aims to create a safe and confidential
space where people can share their innermost thoughts and feelings without any fear of judgment or stigma. We understand
that sometimes, the hardest feelings to share are the ones that weigh heavily on our hearts. At Ankahee, you will find
compassionate volunteers who are trained to offer empathetic support to those struggling with emotional distress or
mental health challenges. Whether you’re overwhelmed, feeling lost, or just need someone to talk to, we’re here for you.
You don’t have to face your struggles alone.
What Do We Do?
Ankahee provides a range of services designed to compassionately support individuals and organizations during their most challenging times:
Helpline Support
A confidential, anonymous and non-judgemental phone service where trained volunteers listen empathetically to callers, by offering emotional support through calls.
Email Support
Apart from phone service, we offer emotional support through emails. If you wish to remain anonymous, you can also email us through anonymous email ids.
